KIDS YOGA CLASSES

Many kids of today are unfit and stressed. Liz teaches children and helps them get in touch with their bodies, feelings and thoughts.  She believes yoga offers children a powerful sense of balance and calm that helps them relax and express whilst helping them to getting fit.  The children themselves love the fun and games (lots of laughter) and particularly enjoy the relaxation at the end of each session.

 

In our yoga classes, we practice fun-filled yoga poses and breathing exercises to promote:

  • Physical strength and flexibility
  • Tones the body and helps reduced rising obesity
  • Concentration, focus and attention
  • Inner strength and body awareness
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Help calm mind and improve sleep
  • Classes are non-competitive

During a class, children are taken through a series of warm ups, followed by asana or posture work based on a fun and interactive animal games. Followed by calm-down time.
